Hi! I'm a music educator with more than a decade of experience of helping people to reach their creative goals. I love doing it, and I'd love to help you.

I am a classical, jazz, and contemporary guitarist. I have been working professionally as a musician since 2010, and have held residencies in Paris, Siena, and Melbourne.

I've also been teaching music since 2010. I am registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and hold a Graduate Diploma in Education and music certifications from AMEB, as well as a working with children's check and tutor training from DEECD.

My students range from professional touring musicians to total beginners having their first lesson, across a huge range of genres - pop, classical, jazz, country, blues, folk, and more. I use educational research and my training in anatomy to tailor lessons to each student's individual goals. You tell me what you want to play, and I'll get you there.

Everyone is different, and I support each student to find their own creative voice and distinctive style. With me, you won't just train as a guitarist - you will flourish as a musician.

I currently work as a musician, writer, and composer for clients including the NGV and the ABC. In addition to my classroom teaching experience, I have worked as a private tutor since 2010, and I understand how to conduct efficient, in-depth learning in this one-on-one context.

I have full insurance for my teaching practice, and am happy to provide you with proof of my insurance, CV, references, proof of my VIT registration, working with children's check or any further details.

I'm based in North Melbourne and host lessons at my home studio, where I have my guitars, recording equipment, and my music library.

I also work in comedy and make sure that lessons are lots of fun. If you don't like your lesson, I'll give you a full refund - no one has taken me up on that offer yet!
